John Scott – Heartbreak Hotel EP [PREMIERE]

Hey Lovelites,

It is my pleasure to premiere John Scott’s new EP, HeartBreak Hotel. Scott is a rising producer from Austin, Texas. His last project Portraits Of The Heart EP was highly praised and even landed coverage on The Source’s website. Scott has crafted a unique sound signature that bounces between many Hip-Hop and Electronic sub-genres. A dark, yet pure and beautiful sound. With conflicting moods that battle each other to determine a different winner in each and every tune that John Scott pieces together. This EP samples Brian McKnight’s classic song Anytime (Message Interlude) and Michael Jackson’s version of the Jackson 5’s hit song This Place Hotel (Intro) just to name a few treats from this EP. As he gears up to release in full length LP titled Where The Clocks Stood Still sometime next year, Scott decided to release this short and sweet instrumental EP to holdover his supporters. Scott is a talented producer and I think his sounds is very refined and this EP is very well executed from the artwork to the track listing. I think this EP has a nice and consistent flow and I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to it myself.
